Professional Training!
You will now get your regular rate of pay for all mandated training instead of minimum wage! Unique will also contribute to a new training partnership fund to improve training, build a career ladder and achieve professional certification. This year Unique will have our own on-the-job educational “in services”.
Increased Mileage!
Starting July 1, 2007, mileage reimbursement goes up to 34 cents per mile. Starting July 1, 2008, mileage reimbursement will go up again to 45 cents.
Fair Way To Get More Client Hours & Qualify For Health Care!
Unique will begin tracking caregiver requests for additional hours, matching client needs and caregiver qualifications on the schedule. Additional hours will go first to workers trying to qualify for health care or those with the most hours of experience.
