Sen. Margarita Prentice for State Senator (LD 11)
In the race for State Senator in the 11th Legislative District (South Seattle, Rainier Valley, Parts of Renton and Tukwila), we found that State Senator Margarita Prentice is the best choice for long-term care workers. As Chair of the Senate Ways & Means Committee she fought to include funding for low-wage nursing home workers in the state budget, and she stood up strongly for improved training for long-term care workers. She deserves to be re-elected so she can continue to work to improve wages, benefits, and training for long-term care workers.
Kevin Ranker for State Senator (LD 40)

In the race for State Senator in the 40th Legislative District (parts of Whatcom, Skagit, and San Juan Counties), we found that San Juan County Councilman Kevin Ranker is the strongest candidate to represent long-term care workers and all working families. As the Vice-Chair of the Northwest Regional Council Area Agency on Aging, Kevin is familiar with the challenges facing long-term care workers and consumers. He has endorsed I-1029 and is committed to improving wages, benefits, and training for long-term care workers. Kevin is also an active member of the San Juan Grange and American Legion.
Fred Finn for State Representative (LD 35)

In the race for State Representative in the 35th Legislative District (parts of Mason, Kitsap, Thurston and Grays Harbor Counties), we found that Fred Finn is the strongest candidate to represent long-term care workers and all working families. He is a long-time small business owner and community activist. He has served on the Boards of Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Boys & Girls Club, Mason General Hospital Foundation, and the Economic Development Council. He has endorsed I-1029 and is committed to improving wages, benefits, and training for long-term care workers.
Scott White for State Representative (LD 46)
In the race for State House in the 46th Legislative District (North Seattle), we found that that Scott White is the strongest candidate to represent long-term care workers and all working families. He has worked on health care and education issues in Olympia, and serves on the public policy committee for the United Way. He has endorsed I-1029 and is committed to improving wages, benefits, and training for long-term care workers.
